LOOKING FOR A REWARDING CAREER - JOIN THE CENTER FOR CHILDREN'S SERVICES

Intensive Services Counselor CCBYS & SASS Program - Full time position providing community based crisis intervention, assessment, individual and family counseling, and case management for the CCBYS Program (Comprehensive Community Based Youth Services) and SASS Program (Screening, Assessment & Support Services).  Counselor will provide community based services to youth that are runaways, homeless, or refusing to return home, as well as youth at risk of inpatient hospitalization due to mental health issues.  Minimum B.A./ B.S.  Position requires coordination, collaboration, linkage, referral, and communication with community service providers, law enforcement, schools, and hospitals.  On-Call crisis response also required. 

Ph.D in Psychology with internship completed; will provide direct therapy services to children, adolescents and families, conduct psychological evaluations, custody evaluations, and provide consultation to juvenile court. Clinical training in child and adolescent psychological evaluations, mental health interventions for children and youth, and family focused systemic interventions expected. 

Substitute Child Care Teachers - Flexible hours.  Would consider college students with appropriate course work,  Experience with young children required plus 2 years of college, including 6 hours in early childhood development.  Monday-Friday hours.  Please make reference to Job #06-1SUB

Education Specialist:  FT  GED/Job Preparation Program for high school drop-outs 16 to 21 years old.  Demonstrated teaching, counseling, computer and case management skills.  Ability to process large amounts of information, think creatively, and function at a high energy level.  Must have excellent problem solving, organizational, project and time management skills.  Work with minimum direction.  Additional assets; entrepreneurial experience, restaurant management, marketing, job development, employment skills training, and grant writing.  Knowledge of JTP/WIA preferred.  B.S./B.A. plus experience required.
